We have had a few bug reports for the new Theed space mission. The bug reported is that there is no way to travel or launch back in space. There is a room full ofterminals inside the retreat. Completing the mission allows you to land at the retreat and also gives you the access to enter it. The mission is only offered to Naboo Imperials (Inquisition) and RSF pilots.
I hope this makes sense and clears up any confusion you may have had regarding this mission.
Here is dialog from the mission:
"Naboo system: Rescue the freighter"
The station says, "A loyal pilot... and just in time too! We need your help, stat, pilot!"
The player asks, "What's the emergency?"
The station replies, "An Imperial freighter is under attack by the Rebel filth and needs help right away, but I can't seem to get in touch with the Imperial space station."
If the player replies, "I'll save that freighter!" then he will be granted the "Rescue the Freighter" mission.
Completing that mission series will give the player access to land at the Emperor's Retreat.

Which mission are you talking about? The whole Emperor's Retreat Theme Park ? 1st Tier ? A specific mission at the Naboo Space Station ? Something else ?

And where exactly are the terminals? I can't get anywhere inside the retreat, other than the entrance, and I just finished the mission. Now my TIE is stuck! Grr!

doh the terminals are well inside the building, lol sorry to laugh, but you might want to start working on the Theme park so you can get in to get your ship back.

Did you talk to the 'pilot' by the entrance? He should give you clearance besides just the reward.

I have noticed that the enterance to the room with all the terminals is hidden, it looks like a normal wall, except you can walk throught it

Its more starwarsy this way to me. I don't want no unruly smugglers touching down in the refined and dignified halls of the great lord. You should of joined the RSF like I did.

I finally did figure out to talk to the pilot standing at the entrance, more of a whim than anything else; there were 3 other people trying to find the terminals; I decided to start walking down all the hallways, and sure enough, a "wall" opened up, and there were the terminals.

My biggest gripe with this is, as with most of the things in this game, that there is NO DOCUMENTATION for anything, until the players figure things out for themselves! The manual for JTL is about 1/4 the size it needs to be, features are added without telling people how to use them, half the stuff in the documentation is flat-out WRONG now due to gameplay changes, etc.
I mean no offense to you, Tiggs, as you're probably not aware that the pilot quest that grants you landing access to the Emperor's Retreat does not state anywhere that you need to talk to the pilot on the ground in order to access the inner area of the retreat, and that the terminals are hidden in the back behind a secret door (that someone else hadn't found after 15 minutes of searching, and was so relieved after I found it and showed it to him that he tipped me 100k!) -Edit- Okay, I went back and looked through my chat window (that I keep fairly minimized when I'm flying) and saw the instructions to talk to the pilot. They must have flashed by on the screen faster than I noticed them, which happens quite a lot.)
A big smelly onion to SOE for poor documentation! Shame on you! Hire a writer, won't you? It's not fair to ask for a player to dive through several forums, mountains of posts, useless guides, (sure, let's write a guide about recursive macros, when SOE is about to eliminate them!) and other nonsense to play a game! If I produced documentation as useless and gap-ridden as the stuff that accompanies this game, I would have been laughed out of my first ever consulting gig. (And hire a proofreader while you're at it, for all of your ingame text, too. A little note: an apostrophe (') is not used as a warning that an "s" is coming up!) The people who post and read these forums are in the vast minority in this game. You people (SOE) need to get your act together, figure out how your own game works, and document it in a SINGLE INDEXED LOCATION so people can just enjoy playing, instead of arguing about whether experimental tool quality matters in slicing!
