Lower mass.

How low can it go?

Yeah, I'd hold out for pitch and maybe for slightly better drain. Other than that I think it looks pretty good. Obviously there are better components, but I'd personally consider that a nice engine.

Basically, get pitch up to match yaw/roll and then decide if its worth waiting another week/month forthe rather insignificant advantage that slightly better components will give you.

well that is simply not true. I have 67 level 8 engines in storage right now and these are the best of them all in all the stats obviously. I had one that broke 24k by liek 50 points, but other than that This is the best, so i do not even think that they drop below 20k, but 18k is really damn low.

18K is crazy.. I recently got my hands on a 21131 mass lvl 8, I have seen people post that they had some just under 21k, but never seen any under 20k. Even if 18k was possible 18k isn't "Relatively easy".

An 18k mass engine would be an extremely out-of-spec loot.

I've looted probably over 5,000 of the things in the past three months, and 22.9 is the best I've mustered thus far.

As for advice - you're waiting on pretty much what I am - a 74.0+ Pitch L8. L8s with 14xx drains are uncommon but doable. I have a 1362.x pre-RE Koensayr Heavy Ionjet (the same brand as my 22.9k) - but again, only just that one.

Mass wise i don't think hes gonna find much better. Granted there is a little better, but engines lower in mass then what he's got are about as rare as BS ace helmets from my experience.


Pitch wise, may take a little awhile, but id hold out for at least 72. Dont use that 71. Its just gonna drive you nuts later.

My QID was RE'd with the following stats.

1529 energy drain
20381 mass
74.8 pitch
75.7 yaw
74.4 roll
101.8 speed

In my experience any level 8 engine with mass less than 22k is a rare find. Pre-RE mass on the unit I had was 21454. That engine you have assembled there is beautiful. Holding out for a bit lower mass might be worth it though.

i would save the 74s for a "perfect" engine and RE the rest. all other stats but those can be improved upon, and since you said you want the engine soon...

Ill wait for a little bit if i can improve on stats. I looted the 74.4 roll engine, and i just bought the engine that has 74.3 yaw (this engine also has my mass im using) for 3 mil. Im keeping my eyes open for a yaw and apossibly better drain.
