New house that doubles as a guild hall. Details to be revealed soon.
Now, pure conjecture on my part... If that house also acts as a personal starport, THEN i might be tempted. But then again, im blessed with 300-400 meters from starport to my house isnt a far swoop ride, so i could probably pass anyway. Still though, its a cool thought thought, and a sony's dastardly enough to dangle that kind of carrot to get people to preorder, purchase, purchase Trials of Obi Wan! (seems its all they have to say these days)

EDIT:
BTW, unless they did that, no way in hell im buying their moneygrubbin' expansion. Not even a space sector, BAH!

Seems they are selling out the game balance just to sell the expansion. Again.
If the skiff is the fastest Multi-player vehicle, then it must be faster than the AV-21. And since the AV is almost as fast as a swoop, we are looking at it being at least as fast as that. We could end up seeing everyone driving around in these huge vehicles just because they are stupidly fast.
3 extra vehicle slots? We've been asking for that for ages. Its really under-handed to save something as essential as this to help sell the expansion. Do they really think it'll be so incapable of standing up on its own merits?
A giant flea... Probably only real advantage too it will be that it (sounds like) it can walk over lava. Save people having to walk round huge pools.
Also, I very much doubt that the new houses will also act as a starport. It would probably create reams of problems. Just imagine the maps if it is full of several hundred houses that you can land at. The house is probably decrotive only

I'm wondering if Blizzard'll sue SOE for making the new Rangers essentially a carbine-carrying facsimile of their Rogues.
Yes Kayl, because we all know Blizzard made up all the classes in WoW. They certainly didn't refine the most popular and well known classes of RPGs into a more simple and stream line game.
This place really needs a roll eyes emote.

...of course, that means you're holding a 73.5+ pitch. You **edit**.
EDIT?!?!!? EDIT?!?!?!?! **edit** YOU, MODBOT!

Oh and out of interest, what was the edit?
Strange, the filter must be incomplete since it let me get away with "bastards" in another thread.
And yeah, i got a 74.8 pitch, and seen as i know the odds of me getting another one are slim to none, i want at least 77 on the engine.
Normally I'd hold out for 75s, but considering I've kicked the asses of people on Eclipse I knew to be using 1.4-capable L8s running EO4 with an EO3ed L6 reward engine with a 1.2/1.3/1.2 spread for going on eight months...anything 1.4-capable should do nicely, and 74.1 gives 1.4 post-RE.
Oh yeah, I'm also pissed I haven't found a lower-mass L6 to fully trump Tomo's baby.

My major thing atm is getting my L7 finished. I've worked out a deal with a guy on farstar for a trade for a 13500 mass one, 13 L8 guns (all filler, but they're a pain to gather) in straight swap for that. Other than that i'm pretty happy with my L7, its not going to be the best ever, but its looking like 0.680/0.670 on the Vs, standard BD damage with a 0.309 refire. Though i'm working on another L8 atm, i've gotten the vs shields over 0.700, i'm only 0.004 shy of getting the armor over aswell, pair that with the 24200 pre RE one i already have and its looking quite good.
No doubt i'll be done with my Noisy Cricket sometime around the new year.
