Ok so I am a hologrinder, but no I didnt get pikeman as a holo proffession.

But, got polearm 1-4 on monday (in addition to master squad leader and master scout), got novice pikeman tuesday morning and began wednesday with 4004, and so I am now before I go to bed a master pikeman.

So from novice to master in 2 days

I am mighty pleased with myself since everyone says its so hard and bugged. Well, I had a great time leveling pikeman, the visuals on the specials is amazing

I have to admit though, I was a master fencer at the same time, and had 300k combat xp saved so I began pikeman as 0003. The extra accuracy and the defence from fencer (melee defence and melee mitigation) probably helped a lot, but still..

what missions did you run, and how many accual hours of game time did you put induring those 2 days?

congrats!! all praises due, im a fellow hologrinder but i learned by reading the forums not too may people care for holo grinding /middlefinger! what else is there to do? the whole game is a grind but i love it! i like seeing how fast i can grind a skill and especially pike which is what im workin on now, im 3rd lvl all the wayacross and i does get better but like ive said before once i master it its gone except for defense mods. so good luck to you and yours and i got something for the haters........a big ol' pike for dat a**

Huurtons (huntresess, howlers) and pikets (all types) on dantooine. Was in a player city with trainer, so both missions and trainer close by. Also, not much other people there so I did a lot of random spawns aswell.

How many hours each day.. Not sure.. Probably 20-30 combined. Could have been faster if I hadnt died a couple of times reading forums

Have now mastered all the melee proffessions, and pikeman has the coolest looking specials. But fencer is have better defence and swordsman better offence. TKA got better specails and specail abilites (meditation), so yes: Pikeman is the weakest (but maybe one of the most fun to play) melee proffession.

That's why it didn't suck for you. Without the +30 accuracy pikeman is tough. Pikeman doesn't become fun until you get 0-0-0-2

I went from x/x/x/0 to master in 6 days

, Could have done it faster, but working 40 hours a week gets in the way

.

I hunted Shanaffs on corillia and averged about 200-300K exp an hour from the begining. Once I got x/x/x/2 and x/3/x/x it was more like 350 and hour. Good stuff, to bad I have to drop pikeman and start working on Scout and Enterainer

I hate you all.

I started this game about 2 days after launch, found my first staff that day. After much socializing and daddling I eventually got around to mastering pikeman sometime in early November I think.

Colour me green with envy.

While it's a good accomplishment to master an elite like this in 2 days, I'm not envious. I enjoyed taking a month or so to master it. I had a lot of fun while doing, getting used to how everything works, how each special can be used.

You can level it in a day if you are/have a master swordsman/rifleman with you. Mind bleed then u hit it once

I mastered Pikeman in just under a week, then got 2hand sword in close to the same time. Has anyone else used this combo of professions? I like it as far as 1 weapon for single opponents and 1 for mobs. Also a master brawler.

I did 900k 2hand xp outside rancor cave on dath in about 3 -3 1/2 hours. All except 30k within 1 set of buffs. So for fast leveling, if i ever do decide to change, that's my favorite place. The loot is also decent.
