Thread: What kind of powerups do you use?

hey, just wanted to know what kind of powerups everyone used and what the % on them were, i just started pikemen so i'm currently just getting the speed ones.
33% mind cost
16% speed
*and some useless thing for hte last one*

i use 16% max damage and 33%mind ones, nothing special but it gets the job done

When exping to become pikman use PuP's with speed so you will hit faster.
I dont dare to use powerups myself, the condition on my weapons is far more important then abit more dmg. Ok if you have a WS LVA/VL, but when depending on loot weapons its hard to use PuP if you ask me.

that explains a lot, no wonder my weps decay so fast. didn't know powerups decay them faster, ty for info.

I hate spamming but.... I've been making tons of P'ups for pikemen and swordsmen (FINALLY going back to pikeman in 2 weeks) so if you're on Kettemoor, stop by and check the bothan P'up vendor.

I, much like an above poster, do not use power up's due to the fact that all of my weapons are looted and I want to make them last as long as possible.

if they dont make it decay i will love u forever for that info, i they do make it decay faster.......o well

Geeze I dont' know about that. It seems like whenever I use a pu my weapons condition plumets. /shrug

there's an easy way to check it:
open your inventory and select your weapon, check the condition dropping when u're using it poweruped then remove your powerup, use the same attacks, and check it again.
powerups DO make the weapons decay faster

i dont think they do ... the speed explanation makes sense that since it adds speed you hit faster and thus decays faster... but its possible.. if you take yur weapon in the DWB you lose half of its cond most of the time... so just using it will decay it.. and for melee powerups are just not worth it... the dmg gain is negligible compared to teh amount of inventory space you'll need to supply a single outting

believe me they do. as i started playing SWG i used them allways. i just wodnered why my weapons decayed that fast. after guildmate told me that they dramaticly increase the decay i imidiatly stoped using them on worthy weapons. i can now use these weapons about 4-5 times longer then before.

u can dramaticly see the condition dropping on pistols. i waste like 50 decay with a 100 uses powerup.
