I have a +6 pike counterattack skilltape. I am wondering how useful it is, and what other skilltapes I should be looking for to make my pikeman better.
Is there a pike speed bonus tape? Will that stack with a melee speed bonus tape?
What is the best skill tape attachment for pikemen?
Just curious.

It isn't ueful at all. The only good tapes are speed and accuracy.

A generic speed, block and accuracy? Or do I need a pike speed, block and accuracy? Will they stack? Will two pike bonuses stack on the same article of clothing?

You need Polearm Accuracy, Polearm Speed, and Block.
Two bonuses of the same type do NOT stack in the same article of clothing - the higher one will overwrite the lower one and you'll still lose a slot.
Using armor attachments in armor items that do not decay, such as the Mabari belt and the Ubese shirt and bandolier, ensures that you will not lose your bonuses to decay (when an article of clothing or armor reaches 0/0 condition, the bonuses stop working....theoretically).

Skill tapes of +1 are fairly common (although not as common as they used to be, since the profession vultures have selected DoT polearms as their current hot ticket). You can pick them up on the bazaar for 6K or less. Sometimes you will stumble across a +2 but that doesn't happen very often. Skilltapes with block bonuses are twiceas hard to find because Riflemen can use those as well.
You will usually have a harder time finding +3 or better tapes unless you visit vendors that dealin skill tapes or check the trade forums. Usually you will pay A LOT of money for tapes with bonuses of +5 or better.
If you're looking to find your own tapes, you'll need to tackle high-endNPCsor go spelunking in a variety of caves and looting the containers you find within them.
