anyone know a good place to loot polearm armor/clothing attatchments? or is the NS area still the place to be for pikemen for every category of loot

In my own experience, there is no specific place, I've found random tapes/clothes/weaps off almost any NPC. Also visit some of the caves (like Borgle Bat, Pygmy on Rori, Narglatch on Naboo, etc.) and places like Erran Sif, Marauder Pirate stronghold, etc. Nightsisters will usually only drop lances, vibro motors, NSEL schem and higher end SEAs but that's about it.
I had no expectation but I killed one of Nym's guard out of boredom and low and behold I got a +7 weapon repair SEA (what good is it really?), so it's very random.
