Thread: What is in your toolbar?

I have been trying to understand all the damage and speed mods and notice some lower level hits are actually better than higher-level hits (spin attack DPS for example).

I usually place each of my higher attacks (polearmhit3 but not polearmhit2... etc.) in my toolbar so I have all of my brawler and pikemen stuff handy - as this usually my method for fighting (mouse-clicking the toolbar buttons).

What kinds of combat action toolbar items do you have in your toolbar? Do you keep all of the attacks or just the upgraded ones? If you have all of them, are there ones you never use?

Thanks in advance for the tips

My keybindings are abit diffrent from the normal ones. I use the keybord like a FPS layout, and use enter to be able to use the chat.

I'll try to write down all i have to make it easier to understand.

R,D,F,G - Used for running and strafing

T - Bind to /polearmlunge2

Y - Bind to AE dizzy

H - Bind to AE KD

E - Bind to spinattack2

Space - Healself

B - Warcry2

N - CoB Macro

V - Intimidate 2

A - clearcombat queue

Q - /dump

1,2,3,4 is binded to 4 pikes i use

> - cure poison

Z - change target

Then for F1-F12 i have food, and other essential things like PSG.

This setup works great for me, im only playing for the PvP atm, some trips to dathomir for more pikes occurs sometimes. But mainly PvP.

Hope it helps.

Thats pretty cool, I never thought to do it that way. Do you not use the 2nd layer of the toolbar (so things are control-Fx keyed)?

Thanks!

Anyone else?

Yes i use the second row also, thas where i have weapons, and also some food there.

The NS Energy Lance are for example on F1 on the second row, then i have binded my "1" button to toolbarslot12 or whatever it is.

So when i press 1 it selects the weapon i have in the toolbarslot.

Its hard to explain all, have more buttons here and there on the keybord, but optimised for pvp and the weapons/attacks i use

That sounds like an extremely effective layout/method.

I have yet to map keys and still do everything manually off the toolbars but you have inspired me!

I figure after a week of getting used to it that would even relieve some of the physical pain I get from bizzare perched-hand postiions over my keybords. /grin

Cheers!

Hehe, yes it prevents the hand to be placed in akward angles to reach all buttons.. and i have so much food, weapons and attacks so the toolbar wasnt enough.. but with this it works great.

I keep just the upgraded attacks in the toolbar along with COB/warcry/intimidate etc. Also have brandy in there. I normally mouse click in fights tho as doing the control+F keys is a pain in the arse sometimes. I have all my Fencer moves and related stuff in Ctrl toolbar 1 and all my Pikeman related stuff in Ctrl Toolbar 2 and just change depending what i'm using
