I played my Pike character for nearly 5 hours yesterday. I may be mistaken, but it appears I'm actually hitting my target more frequently. In fact a whole lot more. This is especially welcome with my LVA. What is everyone elses experience?

I am getting the same results.

I wanted to make sure it aint just me.

Also, block is working. I mean, really really working.

I will have to do some testing too...

But if I read this right...it's possible that my +21 Block mods are gonna start HELPING me instead of HURTING me?

Could it be true? =P

Is block working as 'intended' or 'like is bloody well should' ?

ie: is it simply working wihtout COB engaged now, or is it actually blocking 100% damage instead of 50% ?

Has anyone determined this?

Not sure if I'm hitting more often than before, but block definately is working better now since I'm not taking as many wounds and being able to respond in attack easier. I hope pikeman is going in the right direction in terms of defense, the toughness is good but not high enough.

i miss rarely with my looted lva that has -45s down the board i may be overlooking the misses cause i cap with it

Tonight fighting narglatches with CoB active: 55% blocks, 17% hits, 28% misses.
A similar fight I had logged from May 11th: 68% blocks, 9% hits, 24% misses.

To me it doesn't look like block got much of an improvement.

Accuracy may be improved a bit (at least for narglatches), but I see no significant difference in my own accuracy.

Move along, nothing to see here.
