Yep its true, with the last patch that came out they further reduced our loot drops by making us contend with crystals forthe jedi. Out of 15 hours looting dead sisters on Dathomir tonightand yesterday, I got 3 crystals, no lances, nothing but credits. Perhaps if those crystals were not in the loot table I might have gotten a lance or something to show for thetime spent. Way to go, just keep on takingstuffaway from the non-jedis and see how many people are gonna stick around.

thats funny, imhave ajedi and i've spent about 8 hours killing nightsisters, havnt looted one crystal and my inventory has been filled up with lances and vibro axes..
you know what? its random.
i guess i should say if the "loot tables" werent filled up with all these lances/axes i might have a chance of acctually looting a crystal.

Funny, you can get crystals off Tuskans, Jawa, Mokks, Jantas, Marauders, Nyms, Blood-Razors, and Canyon Corsairs, just to name a few, not to mention Krayt pearls.
We can get lances from one place, Dathomir, off one series of mobs, that already rarely drop them.
Now on top of that rarity we have to compete with something we cant use for what reason? So jedi gets another thing to loot and pikeman gets nothing. You expect me to be happy about that?
The drops already are a joke. I spent all weekend buffing and killing NS before the patch and got nothing. The drops as they are now with the crystals in them are ridiculous. Its supposed to be fun kiling mob after mob for nothing? Or for something only another class can use?
Wheres the love for pikeman?

Crystals are no more a problem than encoded disks, locked containers, cargo pockets, warm hats, rings, bracelets, mangy vests, and all the other junk that nightsisters drop.
Good illustration of why we shouldn't be a loot-dependent class, though. Most jedi realized long ago that being loot-dependent only hurts the class, unfortunately a lot of pikemen still haven't grasped that.

We'd all be better off if a "disturbance in the force" shattered all of the polearm loots too.
They've gotten silly.

hehehe my 745 str action poison lance is a bit silly...
but on topic just do what i do, delete everything thats not a weapon, crystals included...

If Jedi need crystals, and there are TONS of Jedi running around, why not sell the crystals for money, and use the money to buy the lances you desire?

Because no one is paying anything for the crystals because everything is dropping them. Or thats my take on it anyway. I started a trade forum post about the crystals and no one would even offer a price check on them because they are so new.
