Post here if you have gotten a good LVA, VL, Nightsister Lance, or SEA post patch. I want to know if loot was really nerfed.....

If it wasnt nerfed then I am having the longest string of bad luck in the history of the game. This is just another nerf to placate the jedis so we dont kill them with the fire dots.

6 hours, loads of crystals, no decent weapons, "I hate the smell of a nerf in the morning".

no they upped loot in the last patch.. adn NS loot is much better... i think the other stuff that used to loot seemed to take a hit though...
however more tapes are dropping... more modded items are dropping... crystals by the boatload... its almost like looting in the first few weeks of release....
and i did get a 663 dmg NS lance 2 nights ago.... not the greatest but its better thena 133 NS lance...

I think it has gotten better. I looted a +700 axe the other night. I have gotten alot of good lances no amazing ones. I looted a 534 health poison 2handed axe last night. I just wish I didn't have to fight with all the dang Jedi's. It was alot nicer before just me and a bunch of nightsisters. Now everywhere I turn there is a jedi waiting to kill steal hoping to get a crystal. I wish they would ask I have looted so many of the dang things. I just use them for decoration I would gladly give them away.

I dont think NS loot got nerfed per say. Instead, I think you are observing what happens when more items are added to the loot table. I know that besides crystals, NSers can now drop sprays for clothing, and some chemistry componets... these are items that I was not seeing before, and even if they were on the old loot table, there drop rate has been increased.
It seems that the pikes are still out there. Yesterday was a little odd. In my first session I got 8 usable pikes (meaning 500+ damage, or 350+ damage with a mind DoT or mods), but not much of anything else. In my second session, I got a color crystal, and 5 other crystals, but only one usable pike.
To top all this off, I have killed thousands, possobly tens of thousands of nightsisters, including 104 elders so far, and I have yet to see a single weapon or armor attachement, or a mod on anything other than a pike.
To summarize, the loot is dropping, but it is a little tougher to get because other items were added to the loot table, thus reducing the chance to get whatever you are farming for, be it pikes or anything else.

I was encouraged by what you guys said so I went on back to Dathomir convinced it was all a string of bad luck.
890 BF and2 buff sessions later and the best loot was a health poison lance with a Str 1with duration 140s. Yes str 1, very dangerous I know.
One clear crystal drop and one junk lance that was worse than the above one, and nothing else but credits to show for all my time and the 15k+ loss of condition on each piece of armor. Instead of playing the game right this minute, now I am logging into another game because the time spent there (in the other game) WILL be rewarding.
So to recap:
150k on 80% base composite (this is the best price I have been able to find a set of this).
4800 in travel costs round trip.
64k in canape used up (8 stacks of 6 at 8k a stack)
24k in Brandy used (2 stacks of 18 at 12k each)
6k in muon used (25).
100 condition lost off weapon.
5 hours of my own time spent here: Priceless
So roughly 248,000 in costs for this one trip, not counting damage incurred on weapons. And for the sake of arguement we can say the armor will last 2 more trips with repairs, as it very well should.
So net gain from the trip:-230,000 plus time invested (looted roughly 18k in credits). And this is ONE day. I spent ALL weekend with the exact same results, then all week as well. Every day, buffing and hunting at least two times a day on Dathomir. I dont wish to add up the cost but I went through 4 suits of comp and a few crates of the foods.
This game is supposed to be fun but things like this do not make it so. Things like this do not make me want to play the game, and thats the point isnt it? The point is to logg in and have fun playing the game. Well knowing I can go play another game, and that I stand a much better chance of reward vs time invested why should I play here? Its not like I expect toget uber loot that makes me rich everytime I am out there but something to offset the costs associated with going to all this trouble would be a big step. If I feel this way then I am sure many others do as well. Its not luck when nothingdecent drops when you are investing this much time!
How many people do you see hunting purbole stalkers? You dont. Because there is no reward or anything worth getting off of them. Hunting purbole stalkers is not fun because you know theres nothing special that drops off of them or any reason to even bother with them. They dont do anything except add to the background and the only time people kill them is when they are kiling something else and the purbole stalkers get in the way.
The goal behind the game is to make it fun for players and the current loot system could be much, much, improved to do that. After all, 'You have completely looted the corpse of all items' is about the only thing thats still exciting in this game for some of us. What other content is left? The GCW is dead and buried thanks to the ridiculous faction costs and the immense bugs, PVP is dizzied, kd'd, andburied while poisoned and diseased, and the new high levelareas, well 15 SBDs does not equal content.

I've gotten a few good dots 290+ str.
The best thing I've gotten since patch was today. A +25 weapon assembly bandolier(sp?).

Too short time to notice, I didnt get very hot loot often before the patch either..
Ive looted some lower end SEA (+5 unarmed accuracy) off a low-end NS. Ive looted 2 color crystals and closer to 20 power crystals.. Ive looted a ~200 mindpoison with around 8000 uses and 50% potency..
No good damage-weapons looted yet.. They werent common for me before patch either tho.
To me it doesnt seem loot has been nerfed, rather we get more of thevalueable loots off them now.

i would probly say they've up it to accomodate the fact NS will have forcepowers again shortly

No nerf, in one buff sessions I got 15 lances, one with a mind fire -1 uses. I also got 6 sets of shards, 4 armor layer sets, 2 dmg crystals, 1 color crystal and a CA.

I got a 921 max damage LVA last night, as well as a clothing attachment with +13 carbine speed and a decent amount of other fairly unremarkable stuff. No nerf here.
