Thread: block change??

I was on TC tonight and using a novice marksman with 1 box of rifle, i noticed that i had 0 damage go past a blocked attack. This happened every time the combat spam showed a block...0 damage. I post this here because i am a Mpike and we share block with rifles. My question is: Is our block different from rifles, or are we getting a new block in the Combat rebalance?

Were you losing any HAM from the hit? The combat log won't show that you take damage from a block (except when it hits your armor, it will absorb some). I doubt rifle/pike block will be separated as we can stack between the two, but lightsaber block is definitely different. I haven't heard anything about block changing in the combat balances, in fact, Gunman has been told that the way block is working now is intended.
