Well that is what I think because I'm Sick of seeing non master pikes using dots pvp or just taking up novice pike for it for fotm/pvp templaters.

Well, the new delay when changing weapons will certainly diminish the value of swapping weapons, so you may see a decline in poseurs from that.

Also, a change like this wouldn't occur before the Combat Balance, at which time the NS dots may lose a whole lot of their appeal ... particularly if theCombat Balanceresults in the mind pool being healable.

I agree... i see some many stupid FAKE pikeman getting novice just to use DOT's

Yep, quite a few ppl are using the tempalte 4004. I think its very lame to go out and use DoT's to kill when you have the dmg compacity to kill w/o them (No better than a CM =P) . I myself have only DoT's as a weapon, I didnt go out and choose pikeman for the DoT upper hand in combat like most pikeman FOTMers.Perhaps when melee mitigation is taken away we wont need them ...
