I have heard so many times in game about how overpowered pikeman are right now. It sickens me.

Are we overpowered? You would have to be the dumbest person in the world to think that pikeman is overpowered.

Pikeman doesn't need tto be nerfed, ARMOR NEEDS TO BE NERFED!!!!!!

Why are pikeman the FOTM lately? Currently every profession besides Rifleman, Fencer, and CM does about 4 damage after defenses, food, mitigation, and most importantly PSG's and Armor. (Yes I know PSG's are a bit bugy right now, but they do work.) With 90% armor everywhere, people turn to the most efficient means to vanquish their enemy, and that is DOT's. Why are there so many CM's? None of the damage is mitigated, you can stack poisons, and poison/disease incaps, plus you can throw poisons 40m before anyone can get close enough to hit you.

Pikeman DOT's stack. We can stack 4 Mind poisons on someone. The weapon delay slows this, but you can still stack poisons. Very simple way around the delay.....Warcry.

Now, I was actually told this in game, "pikeman get 1k damage axes, no other profesion gets that, it needs to be nerfed, they make pikeman unbalanced." I nearly fell out of my chair laughing. (The person that said this has since left the game) You are right, no other profession gets those axes, but no other profession has -45 range modifiers on their weapons. (The genius's response to this, "Well, my acklay stun baton has -2 range modifiers." At that point I stopped the conversation.)

You cannot sit there and say that nerfing one profession or another will fix the state of pvp. That has what has been going on for the past 6 months, and look where it's got us. You cannot nerfDOT's and think that will fix pvp. You do that, everyone is now a Fencer or Rifleman. It is not a simple fix by nerfing one profession.

Honestly, they could take poisons and diseases completely out of the game I wouldn't even care as long as they balanced everything else.

It's ok man. There are always going to be nerf cryers until this game turns into Counterstrike. Even then people will be complaining of hacks.

Most people don't like to think ahead. They just like to hit the "I win" button.
