Thread: How the heck do you PvP with this big stick?? 8)

Well, recently I decided to pick up Pikeman because I was sick to death of the nerf this nerf that scene, and was hoping to find a profession that was actually going to stay as is. I have been a BH, TK, HS, CM, CH, & Pistoleer. Anyhow, my guild will soon be in a war with another guild because of the fun aspect. My problem is however tactics. I have not yet masered Pikeman but I will by tonight or tomorrow. Currently in PvP I use (not sure about the names so forgive me) the area sweep for the dizzy effect and the single sweep for the KD. I then switch to my nastiest LVA (840 dmg at 2.4) and spam the crap out of Polearm Hit 2.
I will ultimately be complimenting Pikeman with Rifleman. I chose this template because i didn't happen to see many running around with this one (although I could be mistaken).
Is there any advice anyone could offer to my tactics? A new approach? What am I missing? I greatly appreciate all of your input.

Well first, pretty muc hthe only way to kill in pvp with pikeman atm is to get DoT lances from nightsister's.
Second, the reason you dont see many pikeman/rifleman is one, block sucks, two, you do two different types of ham hits, aciton/mind.

Hes got you there block does suck. You may want to combine Pikeman with Fencer to get the Fencer defences. It's just a thought but I bet there are plenty of better templates then what I suggest.

Try Master pikeman/fencer with some tk this combo rocks for pve

I have combined Master Pikeman with Fencer 3-4-4-0, and ranger track four. When I PvP i like to ambush people doing faction missions thats where the tracking come in. When i fight inside of cities i take the battle inside a building so those ranged pro's are not at their best, and beside it gets frustrating chasing some one who is just wearing you down. Have them fight on your ground not theirs, and a nice mind DOT never hurts.

if u dont want doc jus do master pike/master fencer/pistoleer 0040/medic 0040. 100 or more to every state def except for intimidate
