Pikeman Archive

Welp, as you can probably guess by the title, I'm looking for a change of profession in the melee fighter category (dislike ranged immensely), and was looking for some input from the pike-people. I know this may sound kind of shallow, but I just think the profession itself looks cool, and very imposing. I mean, how many people do you know can run around with what looks like a giant can opener and still look terrifying?

Okay, so here's current template:

Master Swords

Master Brawler

Master Fencer

Scout 3-0-1-0 (for terrain negotiation)

Thinking about dropping the Fencer, simply because I don't PvP anymore..but the defense mods are nice. Haven't looked through the entire Pike tree, so I'm not sure how the defense mods match up. Anyhow, any recommendations or suggestions you guys have would be great.

For PvE this is the career. The area attacks that are given to a pikeman are neat and cool to watch in action. I like to PvP so i have combined Master Pikeman wit fencer 3-4-4-0 for the dodge,combined state effect defenses, and the ranged and melee defense. So i can harvest meat and hides for some extra cash or grab one of my DOT polearms and go fight a little, either way i have fun.
