Im trying out drawing in photoshop and decided to make an imperial elite guard, Ive come to the point to draw the actual pike. What kind of pike did those guards ( you know, the red ones in robes.. most awesome imperial soldiers ever hehe) actually use? How did it look like? I tried searching on the star wars database but couldnt find anything.

Any help would be appreiciated thanks

Oh, and on what level on pikeman can I consider killing nightsisters? Started a pikeman alt. Im 3001 right now, I managed to solo initiates as long as it was 1vs1 as 2001.

Well, the answer to the question about the Royal Guards weapons depends on whether you accept Extended Universe Material, or not.

In the movies, they are always standing around with that ceremonial Force Pike (not Force as in "The Force", mind you) which looks like nothing but a metal rod with a grip and a sort of tip. Picture can be found here:

However, the comic book series (actually the inspiration for my pikeman character, and excellent either way) Crimson Empire, by Dark Horse Comics, introduced a more combat oriented and spectacular version, which has also often be seen and suggested as a weapon on these forums. Now, I am not perfectly sure on its origin, I think it was a double-bladed Echani Foil.... but either way, the blades are retractable to make it possible to hide under those crimson robes.

Picture for you is here:

and here (SPOILER in regards to the comic book story, be warned)

Note that in some pictures, the cutting edges of the blades face the same direction, while in others they are opposite. I suppose if anyone were to use such a weapon in reality, the opposite facing would allow easier spin moves, but be less useful in close-and-direct trading of blows.

In regards to the Nightsisters: Fully Doctor buffed, with 2 brandies in, and 80 percent composite armor, you can kill the tougher (IE, real) Nightsisters at 4014 . But expect to take a lot of damage, particularly from the bleeds. You DO need the accuracy and speed modifiers IMO if you use crafted weapons.

Echani was the martial art that centered around an Echani pike(sometime mistakenly called the force pike). I've been hard pressed to find any information about Echani. I'm wondering if it was just an EU fighting system created by the writers of Crimson Empire along with the weapon itself, since you never see that pike in the canon films, nor do you see the Imperial Guardsmanb armor anywhere except in that graphic novel. I would love to see us have that, but I'm thinking copyright issues may prove to be an obstacle. The writer of Crimson Empire is supposed to be a huge Star Wars fan so I doubt he would mind. It's just a matter of SOE puttign forth the effor to secure the rights.

Echani is mentioned in KOTOR. In fact, the double bladed polearm weapon you can use is called an Echani Ritual Blade, I believe. You also can get Echani armor of various classes.

There's another picture of the force pike here. It's the same as the basic lance in-game.

It's a fishing rod, apparently.
