Has anyone else met anyone or just about everyone who says that pikeman was too boring or hard to grind for master and they quit about half way? Or is it just me meeting all the weak-minded low will-powered people who think that it IS too hard or whatnot. Maybe its just that we dont stop grinding at brawler! I can't believe that everyone has to settle for master fencer/tkm or some other boring professions with low visuals and not alot of creativity. I think people need to realize that pikeman is a beauty within its self and that taking professions for pvp only ( you people who just take the stances tree to use DOT's ). What do you think?

Master Pikeman is a proud title to hold. Nothin like battling against an npc holding a pike too. I'm sorry but I still think pike battles look sweet. Just that in itself is worth the work.

Yup, you really cant get a good feel for pikeman until you hit master. I knew someone wo gave up on the pikeman grind (she did the BE and CH grind though

)

I'm doing the pikeman grind for a second time (supplanting my Wookiee out of frustration). It's a LOT easier these days than it was the first time around. Hell, I can even use the LVA at novice pikeman and hit things once in awhile.

What I find irritating is that people who used to make fun of me for choosing the most gimped class in the game are now pikemen thanks to their goddamn nightsister loot.

I love pike. I did it willingly and, truthfully, when I started I didn't even know DOT's were available to pikes. I just happened across2 looted ones which I LOVE, bothdropped from NS's.

It's an awesome profession...good visuals, great for taking out 10+ enemies at once. Definitely fits the bill of 'crowd control'. Got a riot in progress? Send in a Pikeman and sit back to watch.

And I didn't think it was any more boring than TK to master, or any other combat prof for that matter.

ive done all melee professions and i love pikeman the most without any question! currently got +90 polearm speed and its incredible.. using my 900 dmg LVA i bring down anything (except the obvious beastys) quickly...

want a 1.2k+ pike now

Ok..i started doing BH..now if you think pikeman is boring try BH. AND pikeman has the coolest moves I love this proff and will probebly never drop it. I can kick NPCs asses and can have tons of fun doing cool moves. Best Proff yet..I just hope SOE doesnt mess this one up.

Well pikeman is the bomb I think. It was my first profession that i really liked. I did the ch grind too because as i said im not the fall over and die because im lazy.

im thinking of every time i get master,drop to novice so i can grind it again.just love it

(been sitting at 2 rebel bases for a few days lol)
