I bought this LVA, cost me 4.2 million credits, I love this pike, it has been known to lay up to a 7K hit on a Spell Weaver. Anyways, it needed fixing so I fixed it, and the condition dropped to 425. This is just wrong, now I will need a new pike soon. And there is no way of knowing if I will get another pike like this. I woudl be willing to trade a whole mess of stuff for a pike or 2 with over 900 max damage. I am NEVER fixing another one of my pikes again. I should have waited for my WS guildie, who on 9 times out of 10 gets a flawless fix. I hate this part of the game, something needs to be done.

Sorry to hear that. OUCH! A weaponsmith actually gets no bonuses on repairing a weapon. What was the quality ratingof the weapon repair tool you used? If you have no artisan skills, it is stronglyrecommended you don't attempt to repair with anything less than 95%.

It was amazingly enough around 96% give or a few decimals. Go figure, I always break stuff or make the condition go down. You think I would have learned by now.

Just so you guys know..a 100% repair tool will not prevent a bad reapir...it just prevents the item from falling apart when you repair it (1/1 conidtion) you can still get "you have marginally repaired this item" with 100% tools

Look on the bright side. You still have the weapon. You did not get the dreaded:

You failed to repair this weapon. It has fallen apart in your hands.

Next time you get something that pricey to fix, do some checking around for 100% rating repair kits. They do exsist, they are just increadibly rare. I saw crates of them up for auction on the Kauri boards maybe a week or two agofor a 300k buyout (ea.) I believe. They can only have been made on one day (ever) or with 100% perfect materials. Either way, they are expensive for repair kits. But a 100% chance of success seems like it ought to be worth a little something.
