Just felt compelled to post that I have recently mastered Pikeman. I'm now officially a Rifle/Pike slinger. I'd heard bad things about Pikeman, but I did the grind anyway. It's true, the prof does need some touching up, but I'm riding with it anyway.Love the animations, weapons sounds, and look of the weapons. Block stacks nicely with Rifleman as well, and my state defenses are higher than they were with my previous melee prof(TKM). Until it comes time for another change, I'll proudly display "Sentinel" as my title. 
Oh, and Bryon from Sunrunner, if you read this...I'm coming for your title

I wear master to keep myself from being labeled as a DOT -whore, even though the sentinel tag is sooo awesome.............

People who are complaing about pikeman are ones you are pissed cause there group got nailed with a nast ae fire dot or something like that. At least on bloodfin pikemans are one of the first classes taken out in pvp because of the dots they can put on people.

Thanks for the warm welcome folks. I'm still getting my arsenal together, and learning how to fight, but so far I am enjoying myself. I've got the poisons covered...now I just need some fire

Good buddy of mine is a WS, so, he crafted up everything I'd need. As for a a "really good" LVA...that's trade forums stuff. All the ones that hit for over 800 max are pretty much loot only. So, check there...or get killin some nightsisters.
