With the new range mods is the weapon useable at all at polarms III in the bralwer tree where its cert is (at that point you have +40 accuracy mods)

thats where the cert is! But seriously, you'll probably miss alot (maybe, I was 1-0-1-1 pikeman during publish 6) If you can get past all of the misses I guess its usable.

So basically you still need 0-0-0-2 to be able to hit the broad side of a barn with it. I was hoping that by changing the accuracy mods from -54 to about -30 (in essence boosting it's accuracy by20 points or so) it would be usable lower.
I'm basically looking for something to make the grind to novice pike more bearable by using something other than using the plain vanilla lance.

I think you'll be more accurate with it post-patch. You'll still miss, but probably not as much as before the patch.
