Thread: DEVS: There is something seriously wrong here.

I just battled a Master Pikeman and despite his most earnest attempts to just INCAP me, he could not. I was able to heal faster than he could damage me. I did have armor on, andI have 0-0-4-0 Medic. He used a 500 damage Long Vibro Axe, a staple pikeman weapon.
What is wrong with this picture?
If all you need to beat a Master Pikeman is 4 skills in medic and some armor then Pikeman need a SERIOUS booster.
I'm not even a pikeman and I am saying this...
/hoping it is addressed in publish 7

welcome to pikeman n_n weve been like this since we could do 7k damage the first week of the game with only a reinforced combat staff, i think i might have pictures of it, anwyay we were ubernerfed and forgotten after that /sigh o well

Pikeman was the lamest profession that I ever Mastered. I mean come on! With looted legendary weapons like those found on Nightsisters should have +30 accuracy and cause poison, disease, and fire to all three pools. Killing a force sensitive with 400 K HAM is not easy with two people. My TKA/Pikeman friend and I have to spam warcry 2 over and over again and that's getting nerfed. They want Pikemen to have crappy legendary weapons looted from monsters that they can't kill and no one will group with them because no one else is a Pikeman.

Well, I just read the patch notes for Publish 7.
One of the only professions that didn't receive ANY changes.. PIKEMAN.
I think I'm gonna quit this game, the Devs have stretched themselves so thin over the game that it's gonna be a year or two before everything is working as it should.

Oh and Legwand, I am not on Ahazi, and I seriously doubt you could beat me anyway.
Unless you can do lots of damage, because I have 83% base composite.... And I don't need buffs to wear it.
And I'm a medic..
I'd be suprised, really, if you could incap me as a pikeman.

Brother unless you're anything other then a Rifleman/TKM or a Fencer/Pistoleer/Smuggler with a set of 90% composite on, I would beat you. I would beat you fast.
As of right now there is not one profession or combination of professions that I have not killed in PvP.
Master BHs, Commandos, Carbineers, TKs, Fencers, Swordsmen etc. etc.. Every last one of them has fallen to me.
To give you a frame of reference, the other night it took 2 TKAs, 1 pistol/smuggler, 1 rifleman and 1 CM to bring me down. It took them quite a while too.
My point is don't lump all of us pikemen into the same 'you guys all suck' bunch. Too many people have made that mistake with me.

well, i have to agree with leg, not all pikeman suck...duel wise i have beaten any class....and as for tka's owning.....sure, they do well, but with my current setup, i am 13-0 wins vs these "bad boys". I am NOT a defense stacker either...just master pike/master brawler.

And Master TKA can beat a pikeman senseless any day of the week.. and any Rifleman for that matter..

From your sig it looks like you are the typical defense stacker.
Glad to see that's going by the wayside at least, I was tired of people who claimed they were somehow excellent fighters when all they were depending on the WHOLE TIME WAS DEFENSE MODS WHICH ARE PASSIVE.
Anyway, again, shut the hell up, your cocky attitude is annoying.
