I've never used skills tapes before so any info you veterans can give me would be greatly appreiated
For example:
If i have a + 3 polearms speed tape, and a + 1 polearms speed tape, can i stick them on the same shirt for a total of + 4 polearm speed for that shirt?
I've heard that the same types of tapes dont stack on the same piece of clothing.
Thx for your help

Nope, same for armor. Don't try to stack them or you'll lose the subsequent ones you put in. *poof*

Ok, i also have a question.
I have a bag with 4 slots in it. Do bags with slots work, or is it a waste of a tape if i throw it in there?
Or more to the point can you even put it in a bag with slots?
if not, i guess ill get an undershirt or belt then

There is a known bug that you can't put any tapes on a backpack or bag. If you try to attach the SEA, it will just drop into the bag.
There used to be a way around this by filling up the inventory of the thing and then attaching the SEA, but that was fixed with the inventory bug some time ago.
So as of right now, there is no way to attach one.

Unless you found some mysterious bug then its not going to work, congrats on getting them to stick, please test more and tell us how you did it

so any advice on what to put the attachment on clothes wise.
belt/shirt? type?
dont really want to do the ubese bandolier or whatever it is that is still wearable at 0 as thats silly and will probably be fixed sometime.

Well, it's not that bandolier is wearable at a condition of "0" (all clothing is, much to the chagrin of tailors), it's that they don't decay at all, as they don't have "condition" attributes. Even if the developers do "fix" that, it will more than likely not be retroactive and only affect bandoliers that are produced from that point on, so there's probably nothing to worry about.
I tend to throw all my attachments into items that do not decay, such as the Mabari belt, the Ubese shirt, and, of course, the Ubese bandolier. That way you never have to worry about losing them to decay.
