I've been a pikeman for about two weeks, and I haven't figured out what 'stun' does. When I put the cursor on the stun icon, it tells me that it causes the opponent to lose a round of combat and lose some stats temporarily, but I don't seem to notice myself hitting slower (nor lose some stats temporarily).Would someone be so kind to clue me up a bit please?

It seems to effect their defense... makes it easier to hit them, stick effects on them, etc...

Hmmm, I think it slows delays thier next attack and makes it easier to stick other stats like blind and dizzy. Not sure though as I got this from the forums too.

There is no defacto answer but I wish the dev's would tell us. MY goodness, you would think one would know what their attacks do. This is typical SOE development though. The less you know the more bugs can get through.

I guess next time I am stunned I will check the stats of my defenses, as I have been checking the stats of my CTRL+C, lol.

Stun reduces your opponents melee and ranged defenses. It is only worth stunning in pvp in my opinion.

Cool... melee and range defenses. I'll definitely check the stats when I play tonight!

If you move your cursor over the stunned icon, it says that the stunned target 'loses a combat round and temporarily sees a decrease is some stats'.
