Pikeman Archive

Hello fellas,

I've decided to bravely enter the ranks of the pikeman! I'm UWSkeletor, you may remember me from such posts as "Dangit, why'd that stupid wrix eat my spice!" and "Wow, I must have ate too much spice because I entered my house and am now floating in some Matrix like world". I'd just like to let you guys know that I'll be lurking the boards for awhile, sponging up all of the useful info.

I'm not in this for any holo-type of thing, my holo said Commando, and that doesn't really appeal to me. Pikeman reminds me of back in the day when I was going up Rifleman (I'm still a rifleman by the way :smileyhappy. Back then it was actually tough, and there weren't many of us around. I had to pay for most of my training. I'm anticipating the same type of thing for this, but I have to say, I look pretty cool swinging that long vibro axe around.

I glanced at the Pikeman skill tree, and can understand why a lot of people don't go pikeman. No skill mods in the entire offense skill tree? Is there any other profession like that? That seems kind of odd to me.

Also, maybe my noobish experiences will bring back fond memories from some of you old timers. Like trying to drag my wooden staff into the F-slots like 10 times because it wasn't appearing, haha. But there is hope, they finally fixed the buffed HAM displays, so maybe they'll fix the invisible weapons.

Well, continue on pikemen. Someday I'll be able to call myself an official pikeman, and will be proud to do so.

Current Good Points of Pikeman IMO:

Awesome Small communauty ... no Kids wanting to be Uber here ..

Awesome cool looking moves

Awesome Dots weapon: Poison/Disease/Fire (Though the Fireblanket was a stealth nerf for the Fire lances ... and the Upcomming CM nerf will probably hurt us as well ...)

Current bad points of Pikeman ...

Everything else =(((

Seriously ... Pikeman is great in PvE ... and if you can buy for 6-10M of Skills tapes/Armors/Weapons ... it's great in PvP too =)
