Hi there, this is my very first post. I have looked around on the forum and the answer was on several other posts.

The thing is I just dont understand it. Sorry if this a double/triple post or something but here it goes:

Wenn a pike is 4-0-0-0 he gets a speed increase of 10+15+15 = 40

Wenn his weapon has a speed of 4.5 is this then calcualated as

4.5 - 4.0 = 0.5 ?

So does the pike hit every 0,5 second?

Not quite.

I don't have the link myself, but it may be in the advanced guide, to a sight that has the dps calculator.

With a 4.5 speed weapon you need to have something around 90 speed to hit the cap of a hit /second.

No speed is not calculated that way. Check this site out for the correct formula.

if you put in your weapon stats and skill mods into this calculator then it'll work it all out for you

Basically, each speed point is a percentage increase, capping at 1.0.

Mm.. ok

one more question:

I got these raitings from the www.killyourpc.com/swg

polearmActionHit1 156.3
polearmActionHit2 195.4
polearmArea1 134.0
polearmArea2 156.3
polearmHit1 156.3
polearmHit2 195.4
polearmHit3 187.6
polearmLegHit1 187.6
polearmLegHit2 223.3
polearmLegHit3 208.4
polearmLunge1 156.3
polearmLunge2 156.3
polearmSpinAttack1 260.6
polearmSpinAttack2 187.6
polearmStun1 156.3
polearmStun2 195.4
polearmSweep1 156.3
polearmSweep2 156.3

According to these statistics the leghit 2 would be allot better than hit 3. I find that hard to believe because Hit3 Should be the best move (You get it at Master).

Am I doing something wrong or is the game just "bugged"?

No its probably correct. You have to understand that what you are looking at is damage per second and not the damage done per hit. Getting skill tapes with polearm speed will increase those specials that havnt capped yet. The cap is at 1 hit per second. With a weapon with attack speed of 4.5 you will have capped all specials when you get to polearm speed 91 or something like that.

Is there a maximum value of +speed bonus you can get from armour/cloting attachments?

Highest I've ever heard of/seen is +25, but those are extremely rare. Most range from 1-9, with everything above that being very hard to get.

+25 is the highest, skill enhancements are capped at +25, so the highest single attachment you'll find (very rarely) is +25.
