Thread: I just got Novice Pikeman and Im wondering where I should be focusing my attention.
I would go MTK so you dont need armor, saves alot-o-monay =^D
I'm MTK, MPikes, Doc 4000 and its not too bad, replacing Pikes with Swords might not be too bad either though...
Not sure about which trees to train first (tbh with most hunt groups things die so fast I'm not sure it makes any odds what you do). As for weapons, as soon as you hit cl56, if you haven't already, get yourself a vibro lance. A reasonable grind one will be about 800'ish max dam, then you'll probably want to hunt down a nice pre-CU converted one with 950+ max damageand stick an Anti-Decay Kit on it, although expect to pay a couple of mil for the pike (unless you find a bargain, I would go search ALL the vibro lances on the galaxy wide vendor search) and 10 mil for the ADK.
Depends what you want to do with your pike skills really. If you're new'ish, short on cash and just hunt with friends then 800 ones at 10-20k a time will do you fine until you get a bit more established in the game (I'm assuming you're forum reg date is close to your game start date, so you're quite new to the game)
