Well I am almost master pikeman, so when I do master, I want to go out and purchase a good lance. What is the price range for a good lance, and are there any good ones I can get from quests? Thanks!

rofl charr your screwed outta luck bro, i havethe best VL on kauri right now and it really is still pathetic... i say that i have the bestbecause I REALLY REALLY REALLY want some one to prove me wrong so i can buy their pike lol..


also, Kimoan Great Staff is prolly the best staff you can get atm and its FRIGGIN hard to get...quest is loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong and you gotta go thru the black scale camp which is hard and has a timer...

i severly doubt you have the best VL. pre-cu converted ones are the best, but hard to find. i got a good one myself =o

Pre cu VL unless a excellent conversion on the speed side is worse than the kami staff


my pre cu vl 1100 but a crap speed conversion 1.5 (i think) = 551 dps


pre cu NSEL 915 1.3 515 dps but who cares its a NSEL that actually does energy dmg and i look sweet beating on people.


my sliced kami 1020 but at 1.2 speed = 571 dps


my opinion the kami is the best pike out there unless as said you realy did a great cu conversion VL but they are rare very rare


do the kami quest yes its long but it is far from boring one of the harder quests in game but fun and a usefull reward at the end, there is some space missions i would reccomend being at least 3333 for or get a ace m8 or 2 to help

i suggest you do the blackscale compound quest on kashyyyk. it'll get you the kamonian great staff. probably one of the best pikes in the game.


mine with a slice and a dmg pup, its an awesome pike.


its a hard quest though, you'll want a good group with you

I have that same template and noticed others posting modified dps higher than mine. Like you I have +25 speed/accuracy skill tapes (also +6 general speed from FS) and with my 343 base dps VL (max damage 1065, mod speed 1.39). I'm getting around 575 dps (modified).

I've even removed items of clothing to see if the dps changes once each skill tape is removed, which it does. However, dropping down to +18 only changed my speed by 0.1s, is that normal?

I'm pretty sure my mod speed was better prior to publish 20.

i'm only master pikes/master doc


i think my polearm speed is gone from +45 (what u end up with master pikes), to +108


plus a +7 gen melee speed attachment, and the melee speed tree from fs complete.


i got my kamonian over 600 mod dps. i forget what it is exactly, but i have it posted on my thread in the pikeman forums.


i would suspect that with all that speed, i would hit alot faster that i am..

might be intresting to see just what temps these guys who post 600+ dps are using is it something thats related to template



ie master brawler pike tkm bit of swords vs tkm/pike dr4000 with same staff and see just what there dmg is i know i would never give the dr side up its just to valuable over the better dps but would be intresting to know.
