Wow I think we may be. 
Itried to solo the geo cave this evening/morning, Took so long to work my way down there alone; About an hour and a half total.
When I got down to the bottomand was staringface to face with the Acklay. I very cautiously killed the spider in the doorway and inched my way along the left wall until I got the "?" from the acklay. ran back through the hallway turned on my center of being hit my intimidate and warcry. Started beating the hell out of him with just quick melee hits and melee strikes to keep my action up. When I ran back into the hallway though I spawned the kwi again; he wasn't doing much to me. Then the spider spawned again, at first I thought it would start attacking Acklay, which is not un common since Acklay area dizzy blindand stuns. Long story short I was kicking ass while the 3 critters slowly wore away at my mind pool, and I ended up dead. got the Acklay down to 7k of 35k before I fell so i'm 100% positive I could have taken him down had I not had the other 2 on me.
Anyways this encounter got me thinking about the giant canyon krayts same combat lvl and boss mark. So any pikeman soloing these things? Acklay? Giant Canyon Krayts? I'm not talking about the pikeman with powerhammers either 
Anyone going after these things with a sliced Vibro Lance with an Action Cost power up on it and winning? I'm going to be at it all tomorrow, and I hope to see good things, and very few cloner trips.

I mean i know other prof can do it too, but I was really scared that I was gimping myself going from rifleman/Combat Medic/BH x/1/2/xto my new pike template. I feel so much better about my decision now.

Master Pikeman
Teras Kasi x/1/x/x
With a few points left over to go where I have no yet decided. prob finish with 2/2/x/x TK
My Vibro Lance is just normal post-cu made and sliced:

Accuracy bonus 1(-5) always action cost power uped

And I do have the following mods too;
Polearm Speed +25
Polearm Accuracy +25
General Melee Speed +25
General Melee Accuracy +10
I'm very pleased with what I have seen from pikeman so far. I can't wait until I get my hands on a Kaminoan Great Staff. I have yet to try PvPing or dueling though I already know in big pvp battles I will just get shot to crap by the cybernetic arm peeps.

Nice work!
Best I managed so far was an Adolescent Krayt, lvl 84. Almost beat a Gorax too, got it down to about 10k of 35k before I beat the dust.
But then I don't have any Doc/Medic, so I'm sure someone who does should be able to do better than I did.

Yeah Ihad to have master doctor or master combat medicfor my guild's sake. We like to make occasional runs into the DWB. If it wasn't for that need I would gladly drop down to 4/x/x/4 doctor and pick up master brawler and the improved armor breaks.
But yeah I couldn't live without a constant method of healing especially with my melee strike/melee hit tactics. My battles always last a verylong time. I try to save my action bar for knockdowns and armor breaks, only pull out the harder hitting attacks to finish whatever I am fighting off.
I was stealing giant dune kimos from a rifleman this morning too. A bunch of quick attacks ends up doing more damage than a few powerful ones
