I finally made it.

MASTER PIKEMAN, and I must say I find nothing is like seeing a mob of 6 around you fall on their arses at the same time and keep falling over and over because they are dizzy.

I LOVE this profession so far, I combined it with the defense line of fencer for now.. even though it might not last. Works well for now.

I dont hit very hard, maybe 3k rarely 4k on pve.. my LVA is at 501 max dmg. People advertise all over that they sell or buy 800+ dmg? I even saw someone claiming of a 1000+??

how the he11 does that happen? loot? nightsister elder? then slice? I feel so week after reading posts like that.. (as I am week next to those stats..)

Anyway, what attacks are prefered by most? many tell me leg h3 is great.. I dont find it that great... I take someone faster with area attack2, or pole hit 3..

what are the combinations of special that work?

area 2 to lay dizzy and stun, then go for a KD, if that doesnt work try it one more time then throw, Hit 3 for posture change,

leghit 3 is good with cap, unitl then do 2, grab a few DOT weps, everything helps.

i prefer to use my inital attack as warcry 2, then intimidate 1-2, lay DOTS, keep laying states, and just hit the crap out of them, Polearm hit 3 is a posture change, so dont spam it on a KD player, he will get up, instead go for the legs or do hit 2. . . .. GL congrats on master

i find it better to kill protectors/spellweavers/stalkers/rangers/outcast for loot then elders there drop rate seems to suck and take awhile to kill.

one of my fav things to do in pvp (and pve too) is when i see my target from afar, and we start running towards each other, i spam sweep2 which knocks them down everytime -- even jedi. then i hit them with a spin to dizzy and if it hits, they stay down...then area or hit3 with intimid and warcry

Congrats on master!

As for your questions, check the FAQ they will provide a lot of answers.

With regard to the specials, it's really situational. If I'm going against one single opponent, I'll use action1, action2, and then follow up with LegHit3 spam. This way I'm just targetting the action pool. If I'm going against multiple opponents (which interestly pikeman seem to do better against multiple opponents then one) I'll sometimes throw area2's to a dizzy to stick and then follow up with a sweep2 to knockdown.

Someone once said if you're not using every special you received from the time you picked up novice brawler, you're fully utilizing the power of your profession. I agree with that.
