I am just looking for something rare in the game. I'm must a Master Carbineer so I don't have any Ranger skills. But I was told that you guys would have the best ideas or tips on how to find the Gorax. I just want to hunt him down and get a screen shot. If anyone could give me a tip I'd appreciate it.

I've been to the northern desert a few times looking for him. I literally scoured the area just before Pub9. I'll spare y'all the soap opera, but when they had the big thing about him being able to be seen during that time I never found him and was unable to continue the search until now. I'll keep trying though. I just want to see him and get a screen shot. I always remember the old Ewok movie and how kick ass the Gorax was.

Had a run in with The Mighty Gorax on Lok when he was released on some of the worlds for hunting. Good times were had. Well good times if you mean getting killed about 15 times.

Have fun looking. Thats one creature i still havent seen. And its rarer than a natural spawn on talus.

Yup...Northern desert on Endor. Your best bet would be going as close to after the server restarts as you can.

I found him on Lok during the anniversary special. Impressive creature, btw.

Everyone says that he can be found in the northern desert of Endor, but I haven't seen one there. Though it might be because I am unable to spend large amounts of time just after a server restart.

Last night I joined a guildmate and a friendly Jedi on a Gorax hunt. It was great fun! If you get a chance, track one down. Took us a while but we killed two while I was there. I used my LVA but I do want to try again with aVL due to the Electricity resistance. If you go take plenty of anti KD and Dizzy food! While we targted his Mind Pool, due to the Jedi's successfull attacks in that area ,we also debated trying to attack action due to My attacks coupled with the Jedi' action attack. Would like to try that too! Hope they spawn a while longer.

i was under the impression that most jedi use 2 handed sabers which would probably be action in the first place, but then again he was probably master saber so he was using something else. . . .

anyway i always look at the creatures resistance when im fighting it for the first time,if it has kin higher than 40 and electricity vuln. i ALWAYS use my VL. . . . .

He was only using a single sabre, but my guess is he was Master Sabre as you say. Unfortunately the call to the hunt was unexpected and iIhad forgotten that I had been in the middle of rotating my inventory. So I get there and see the vulnerabilty and think "Great,lets whip out the old VL". Cut to an exterior shot of me checking all pockets and rifeling through my inventory onlt to find.......no VL!
