Thread: I'm thinking good thing for pike in the CU... I think

I am not a pikeman yet, training it righ tnow, but i was wondering what everyoen though of the potental ability that the Devs could add to us in the CU. I have soem pikeman guildies who have pulled me into pike, (I am still polarmes 3) and i think that they are awsome. I think they are a greatr proffesion, but just underrated enough becing cover up by TKA annd swords that we will get buffed majorly.
What does everyoen else thing? I wanted to go swords till i realized, hey they can solo nightsister elder, they will be nerfed to H#$l.

I have zero faith in anything getting fixed in the combat whatever. I guess I'm just tired of being lied to for over a year now.

the good thing about the combat balance is that they will nerf the ability to do a proffession in 7 days much less 2.
then all the l33t doods wil have to grind for a few weeks to get to Master, hopefully months of grinding will be necassary.............

i read somewhere that you'll be able to free reallocate your spent skillpoints to put them wherever you want when the cu arrives...

Yea, but only once, so get all your skill points spend in where ever possible.

two things ....
1.I realy hope they do mak eit harder to master proffesions after i master pike personally i hate grindin so it has been a month and still no master pikeman i usually get 1-3 boxes a week
2.if you can relocate all your skill point sdoes this mean that they will wipe ou completely clean of all spent skill points and then let you put them were ever you want personaly it sounds like a noobs way ofmastering the game all at once and i am sure they won tlet you use all your skill points to master jedi right off....will they ?

You know, I mastered Pikeman in about 23 hours....using buffs of course, but that’s not really the point. Point is, it can be done with any melee profession at the moment. Now I didn't do Pikeman in 23 hours just to be done with it, I completed it, because I was having so much fun mastering the profession, I was amazed. This is the only melee profession I haven't done in the Year + I have been playing, and I was simply amazed at it. Every block I got, I just got more and more excited about how well the overall Pikeman profession is.
Leaving DOT's out, this is by far perhaps one of the best melee professions in the game. It was also thought out very well in my opinion. Problems exist, yes, however in the larger picture of the game, this profession has a lot of great tools that no one else has. So I played for 23 hours straight, and killed everything I ran into.... well and until my eye's started to bleed from looking at the screen for so long. In reality though, this profession has the highest potential then any other melee profession. I really do think the CU will bring that much needed "oomph" that everyone is looking for.
