Thread: How do you kill your jedi opponents

ive been reading posts and it seems that pikeman can kill those jedi good.. well im goin pikeman and i would like to know some of your strategies to killing them

Hit them with every state you can,intimidate, warcry, lunge, etc..& get them on their knees or backs and whack away with high damage LVA's, as was mentioned.

Well it depends really, if its a duel where you know they aren't going to run, I for one anyway would do things differntly than against a djk in pvp where I know he'll fr2 as soon as he realizes that he has double pool fire and is getting smacked with more states and damage than he can keep up curing with.
But yea basically that, for regular pvp I dizzy kd with mind fire intim stun etc keep all the states on, switch to the other fires and keep them dizzied, (hit3 with dmg lance makes them stand so I generally save that till they just need a finishing hit).
But basically good fire dots and 900+ looted lances will make them cry it's hard to lose when you've got all that(assuming speed cap).

Yep... stacked 650 mind fire (actually, I prefer to stack health fires since with myhigh dmg pike I tend to hit health moreoften)+ 1.2k max damage pike + every state imagineable = dead jedi

You gotta have good DoTs to beat a jedi IMO. Keep the DoTs and states on em as much as you can and watch em burn up their forcepowers healing. And don't wear armor, it won't do you any good against jedi.

Yeah if they aren't gonna run you can easily keep them int and just spam hit3 with a good LVA and beat them in no time, but in PvP where they are gonna run and have lots of helpers I'd stakc a couple good fire dots unless they are master healer then you have to jsut wear down there force with a combo of dots and damage.

If they jedi are jedi masters on bria however lol apparently they aren't going down without 700+ fire lol. 80% armor and they can be pounded on forever.

well, you can kill jedi if they are alone but what are the odds of that!

I would have to agree with the guy who said about fire on health.
As jedi can heal all pools and we can't target mind we soley rely on the dot for mind. How ever things to note.
1/ Having a fire and a disease on the same stat AMPLIFIES the fire dot. So my 293 healthfire which also has a disease health on it ticks for around just over 600 a tick.
2/ Our LVAs tend to damage Health more than other pools (unlessyou use leg hit)
My advise is, assuming you have the dots, in my case,
293 health fire (area2 to state up), 348 health poison (area KD), 300 health poison (Area2 to keep dizzy on),Warcry, Swtich to 1272 LVA then pound on them with hit3.= devastating.

Keep the Jeedai on the defensive.. they freak out and worry about healing.. if they could fight with the states, they'd be more effective. I don't use DoTs so I can't help you there. I prefer the raw power of Pikeman.. tis' why I left Teras Kasi (You quit TERAS KASI, OMFG APE!!! hehe) for it

Also, quick keying 'ClearCombatQueue' could make you faster in applying states and switching your attacks in and out. I'm constantly clearing my queue to continually re-adjust my dance with the Jeedai. You probally won't need Mind Buffs, because everyone is so in love with the double Saber (on my server anyways), pretty cheasy IMO.. hehe.
