Thread: What are the different Pikes available?

Hello,
Im new to Pikeman, and was wondering what were all the different Polearm weapons available. I know that individual Polearms have different Stats, but i was wondering if someone could list for me (or tell me where i can find a list) of the different types of Polearms available, and what Skills i need to use them.

other than DOTS, the only pikes that are usable out of the box,
are Vibro Lances ( VL ) they have electricity damage and are light AP
and the Long Vibro Axe ( LVA ) they do kinetic are medium AP and arre probably our best weapon
I use LVA in most cases, unless it is a higher level NPC such as a DWB enemy, that has extremely high Kneitc D and low Electric. . . . .
other than that welcome to the wide world of pikes
oh yeh, and there are aldo looted pikes, which are sometimes great, and sometimes suck rlly bad........

oh, dont forget the Nightsister energy lance that takes a group of 10 master combat profession players to get but is completely worthless to anyone except dancers for decoration. God soe has screwed this game up.

lets see vaca covered everything accept the NSEL night sister energy lance this is our form of a special schemativ weapon like the executioners hack for swordsman you need to kill axkva min several times to get tehschematic and then get i think it was 3 identical night sister vibro components and then some recources but to use this you need to hav emastered the stances bar on pikeman. you can either kill allot of NS to get this weapon put together OR you could spend several million creds and buy one

so, youre saying in most cases, the Long Vibro Axe is better than the Vibro Lance?
And what are DOTS?

DOT, which should be spelled DoT, stands for Damage Over Time. These are weapons that cause either disease, poison, or fire status effects. How a melee weapon can set you on fire I'll never know, but that's beside the point.
As for the weapon you'll be using, it will be almost exclusivly the Long Vibro Axe. The Vibro Lance has its uses but gets destroyed rather quickly. Anything that requires that you use it on them likely have a higher armor rating than its armor piercing, therfore when you kill said enemy, you've already lost half of the condition. If you can get the Nightsister Energy Lance then rejoice and cry all at the same time, for buying that weapon not only gave you a powerful ally, but more than likely cost you millions of credits. If you actually manage to make it though, then just rejoice.

In practice, the Vibro Lance is barely useful at all. The LVA's higher damage plus higher armor piercing level makes it the superior weapon 99% of the time. However, the Vibro Lance is a good weapon to use when you're first starting out as a pikeman due to its superior accuracy and quicker speed.
