It has come to our attention that some players are in possession of weapons that have DOTs with infinite charges. These weapons should not exist in the game. We are asking players who have these broken weapons to please contact a customer service representative who will reset the DOT charges to 3,000. Attempting to keep and use these weapons can result in having the weapon confiscated. We also advise players not to purchase these weapons from other players.
We are in the process of resolving the bug that causes this issue. Part of the resolution will be to destroy any weapon not fixed by a CS representative.

The only people who whine about it will be the dot whores who spam their dots at everything, period. It's easy enough to conserve them, and if you do, 3k lasts a long time.
Doesn't matter to me much anyway. My best dots all have 6k+ charges.

This change sucks for me... I just sold my WS +20 suit and all my resources and spent the creds on -1 dot pikes to be a BH/Pikeman (I been pikey for many months). I spent every credit I have built up in 14 months on items that are now pretty much worthless.
They should have just finished what they started and made it so pikes at 0 condition (or -1 condition) could not be equipped... but as they could not get that code to work correctly they now call -1 dots a bug!

Anyone here but me thinks that this is a good thing?
It is a good thing in 1 way...but look at the millions people have spent on these for how many months and SOE has the nerve to say "Oh...this is a bug...we will be taking these back now" instead of fixing it if it was a so called "bug" in the first place. They should have just said "We screwed up by introducing these into the game, and now we are gonna screw you by taking them back." Like i said on the sunrunner forums, i get better service from the stoner that makes my ham and cheese sand at 4AM at the quicky mart.

Whats funny, is they act like they're just now noticing this. The devs do get things done, it just takes awhile

This just in :"It has come to our attention that the R2 Droid is still in the process of fixing data terminal of every starport on Tatooine."
Also heard, were rumblings of smugglers being in Star Wars Galaxies - no official word can be confirmed on this matter as of yet.

awww... all your cash on -1 pikes... well unless u were poor WS u should have enough pikes then to DOT the jedi enough times (if u hit 5 jedi a day one pike should last u a year).

Some guy at an admin screen just woke up. Seriously, how can they possibly act like these are something new? They've been available in game for a year or more!

Regardless, anyone had to have known that there was a chance this would be fixed eventually. Same thing for DOTs on 0/0 condition weapons. Sure, it works, but it shouldn't and you'd be a fool to pretend it wasn't going to be changed.
