I have been hunting with my guild alot lately. Normally in groups of 8, usually have about 3-4 jedi with us. So our targets drop pretty quick but normally I use this combination:

Legsweep (knockdown)

Intimidate (tends to stick more often when they are kd'd)

Armorbreak

Then I use my damage attacks. Anything else is just wasting action pools. Put a PUP on your VL and you will have your target down in no time.

Ofcourse I also have MTK and Master Brawler in my template so, maybe that's all I need. Adjust as necessary. Oh, and I have yet to play Post CU with a buff.

I did however take on 6 level 45's that spawned outside my house. Killed them all with no problems, walked away with half my health and only popped a pixie and a brandy.

Hello,

I am new to master pikeman. I dropped master swords for pike because I like to use intimidate, warcry ect, plus I had novice pikeman before the cu

I have noticed the following combination yeilding good damage on creatures such as pickets and bols with CL 80+. These attacks are done while in a group.

Before i attack the creature, I hit intimidate, armor break, warcry, then hit improved impale. This will give me about 1266 damage.

I am sure it is the combination of intimidate and armor break, or just the armor break. I am using a 900 ish vibro lance. If I attack without seeing the armor break applied the damage is in the 900's.

Anyone else want to post what they use when attacking creatures?

Intimidate applies a 20% damage reduction. Stunning blow applies a 10% damage reduction. When both are active there's a 30% damage reduction. I try to keep these on at all times.

Against a non-aggressive non-social mob, I stand next to it, CoB, intimidate, stun, armor break, bleed (fencer skill, but meh), lunge or sweep, then impale it to death. Reapply states as needed.

Against an aggressive or social mob that's coming for me I first lunge to get a little distance, CoB, then proceed with the rest of the series from a spot that's to my liking.
