as the title says...i want a good PvP&PvE template...so give me strengths weakness's etc thanks

HONESTLY? Don't choose. Take both. 
But anyway, Swordsman attacks tend to heavier-hitting. Critical Strike will beat Impale any day 'o the week. Pikeman has much better defenses, an area knockdown, a stun state attack, and a spin attack.. not to mention - cue: drumroll - INTIMIDATE AND WARCRY.

yeah i used ro be master fencer/master rifles pre CU, now im staying with Master Pikes/Master TK
I love Pikeman

Swords is more damage dealing, but it has less defensive capabilities such as Knockdown etc. that pike gives you, as well as the higher defenses over all.
It's not a case of taking on or the other i think. Are you taking another melee profession? If you're a ranged/melee mix i would sugegst taking swords as they pack more of a punch if you can get in at lose range.
If you are going all out melee. I like the combo of TKM/MBrawler/MPikes and then a couple of lines from the Swords tree (i picked the defensive but the offensive obviously for more damage outtage....)
All personal preference i guess.

Yes, both is the way to go. I've seen Saal go at it, and he has given me a run for my money too, people that say melee are gimped are thinking INSIDE the box.
My alt is Mswords, Mpike and a splatter of other goodness and the effectiveness in both PvE and PvP is GREAT. I would suggest atleast one other aspect to help out in PvP and that is the improved(advanced?) lunge from fencer and the improved CoB from TK, of course at that point take master brawler aswell if you are a fully stacked melee template.
Remember that accuracy which is over your targets defensive mods equals more damage.

I disagree with the TKM. I have Mbrawler, Mswords, Mpikes and TKa 4 2 4 0. Also FS melee speed 4. This maximizes my weapon speed sO can have weapons made that lean toward damage and hammers hit very hard.
