Will I haven't used a vibro lance yet, but My long vibro axe has damage at 70 - 333 and has a speed of 4.0; and I haven't even getten sliced yet.

Because it starts being worth using when you get Master Support, you'll still miss 3 times more than any other master of a combat profession but 4-5 times out of 20 isnt that bad imo.

Am a little confused here. Why do pikeman use a vibro axe? Is that still considered a polearm weapon or is it 2handed. I use a vibro lance and like the damage the axe does but unsure if I can use it with my brawler skill only in the polearm class. I am a novice pike with 3 levels and just bought another vibro lance as mine was gettin beatin up.

Well, there's the Vibro Axe, which is in fact a two-handed weapon, and the LONG Vibro Axe, which is a polearm. A lot of us get lazy and just say Vibro Axe when we mean Long Vibro Axe, which is probably why you're confused...

Thanks for the clarification. Starting to wonder what I was missin here. Guess I should go shopping again eh? What do my fellow pikes feel is better, the lance or the axe?

A good regular lance is always useful. I use Long Vibro Axes, the accuracy is astounding until you get up the support line, but when I hit, it's always 2-3+ times what the regular lance will do. The Long Vibro Lance has smaller penalties, but the dmg is always less than the axe. Love my LVA.
