Well let me say that I play on Radiant and we were all waiting on a resourse shift so we can get ditanium steel. No such luck for the red headed step server again and no vibro pole arms at all as screwed up as they may be : (.

So that blows and yesterday I finaly got sweep1 and lets just say huh ?

All the threads I read made it sound like the onlything worth getting but the critters dont stay down long enough to do squat. I have a 3.8 speed lance and have not seen anything faster so unless I spam sweep1 and kill my self due to HAM it is not usefull in solo play.

All in all pikeman are and have been a big waste of time master or not unless you like the look of a pool cue (lance) for months on end there is no reason to continue with pikeman.

I am having my freinds hold my money and I will remake a new character.

I know I sound

Um duno what that was all about sorry....

Anyway yes I am bitter at the waste of my time even though it was my choice to invest it to see what it was like.

Good luck to you all.

Very bad for Pikeman.

We did get the type fixed on advance vibro units finally.

However...

A primarily PvP Bounty Hunter knockdown issue has spilled over into ruining a simple polearm move in PvP or PvE.

Our blocking ability(inability) has not been addressed. We've yet to recieve an explanation why our best weapons have horrible accuracy modifers.

Melee in PvP is even worse now. Should we have ever caught up to our target, knocking them down will be a blessing to them due to HAM costs.

Maybe I should become a marksman so I can have my cake and eat it too.

well this update looks good for UNarmed people... they got a dmg increase... don't know what thats all about. Uh really i didn't see anything good for the pikemen anywhere in the update... I'm really thinking about droping pikemen now... after this update of increaseing and helping just about every class but pikemen...

Don't feel bad Cheeseman, commandos are still more screwed. Don't worry though, there will be more patches and perhaps one day we can surpass the commandos in uselessness.

Is it me or did this patch do something to my accuracy and damage intake during melee?

I now hit 2 times less often and take twice as much dmg in melee than i did before, to top it off my pole hit 2 doesnt do much more than a regular hit does. Did they mess with these at all, or am I just having a really bad day?

I use to be able to maybe solo 50/50 chance a yellow, and most of the time a white, but now whites are stepping on my face with thier boots whith thier 75% hitpoints intact and im out cold. I come dangerously close to getting incapped by blues, how embarrasing is that?

My accuracy went from maybe 65% to like 30% now. I am royally ****** now and hope that this is jut a temporary bad day for me , but sadly i think it isnt, since my brawler friend has reported numerous misses also, he says he misses all the time now, when he would hit like 75%.

Please tell me i am wrong and no one else has noticed a difference.

I see some TKA got word from a CSR HAM costs are broken for them (read on their boards). I think we need to get cranking on documenting what is wrong with us before there is no one left here. I'm going to go hunting with this new Long Vibro Axe I made today with adv components. I'm a doctor to so can fully buff myself. I'll report what I see from a hunting tip later

Long vibro-axes and vibro-lances crafted after the patch should get a good boost in stats, apparently they fixed a bug with identical components - so will be interesting to see if theres any effect, gunsmiths are already reporting a good boost to pistols made with identical power handlers.

I'm really not seeing any of the problems you guys are claiming to have. My HAM costs are all the same as they were; I do not take more damage to use sweep. Everything seems to be the same as it was.

The only difference that will really affect me is the lowered payment for missions, but if this was implemented to save the player economy, then I am for it.

Khem07, i believe they said that conning was changed to better reflect difficulty. this could explain your problems. whitesshould be able to kill you, or almost kill you most of the time. theyre supposed to be 'tough'. since they changed them some, try attacking the same stuff you had pre patch, and see if you notice a difference.
