I'm a novice pikeman 1/0/2/1 and i have a couple concerns. Of course there is a concern with accuracy, speed,and HAM costs like everyone has. The big problem i have is that people want greater range out of their polearms, i have heard as much as 10 meter. Come on 10 meters. I know polearms were meant to be long defensive weapons, but if you are going to complain about range, then be willing to sacrafice speed with a 10 meter long weapon lol, its just rediculous.

The one good point i have about the range is this. I do think polearms should have a greater range then they do and TKA's should have a smaller range. One ideai would think is logical is to give polearms a special ability of sorts. I would think that if i had a huge polearm and i was fighting a guy trying to beat me with his fists i would be able to use the pole to force him back and to back off from being right in my face. I belive that polearms should force enemies and players back, thus putting them at ideal range so our accuracy can get all the help it can get This just seems logical to me. Look at the movement of your player when he makes these moves. He swings above his head, pokes with the butt of the polearm and pokes with the end of the polearm. I would think poking someone with the end of a polearm would push them back. in my opinion.

My basic lance is a 2.9 speed. Sliced for speed. Im not sure of the dmg off hand but the max i belive is 252. I am on starsider and we are yet to have resources for Long Vibro Axes, Long Vibro Lances. I think the speed of my weapon is pretty nice and i hit fairly well. I miss rarely, the occasional miss of sweep 1 or so often comes up, and i miss alot more whenhit with status ailments (blind, dizzy). I just think people complain about accuracy so much because the speeds of their weapons are too slow. All i have read on the boards are people complain abou their LVA and LVL being too slow. If you miss with those weapons, of course it would suck cause by the time you attack next a TKA can hit you about 5-7 times. If your having problems with missing i suggest you go to a lower weapon to get better speed.
