I'm nearing Master Polearm and I got a great LVA...and GOOD LORD do I miss alot! Is this a phase I'm in? I'll go 6-7 swings without hitting. I hit for good damage when I connect but man, real problem connecting.

When does this improve?

It gets a bit better at master support but you'll still miss 2-3X more than any other master of a combat proffesion which I guessisnt so bad with the damage we do. All these new positive posts from non master Pikemen since the big patch are giving me hope though.

i must comment on this, really i have all my first row filed and i have the polearm stance box in the 2nd row, thats all,.....i miss maybe at most once every 40 hits, and like i said earlier, i beat a bounty hunter and 4 others 2 were marksman of some sort and 2 were swordsman, in a duel today, i did loose once to my marksman friend though right before i logged off, i am no where near master pikeman, and i am having a blast, i dont understand whats the matter with you guys, but if pikeman sucks to you all, then i would hate to see what ya said after doin somthin else about whatever it is that you do, cause it dont get no better than this! what are you lookin for? damage?, well i can hit upwards to 4k damage, rarley but, i have never seen a marksman do that, and i hunt with them all the time, is it speed that you need?, well right now my pikeman has only +35 speed, thats right and i am hittin back to back on special moves, what else do ya need?, i am very happy and i cant even imagine what it will be like at master,..polearmhit3? good lord cant wait to see the damage

lol, buddie you will be weak for a while if you mean polearm. you wont see the power till you hit pikeman, thats were the big dawgs eat,...have patients, when you hit pikeman, it will be worth it

You really shouldnt be using a Long vibro axe. Blame the devs for screwing up the certs and not fixing them. Stick with a basic lance (fp lance) untill you hit novice pikeman. Then you can use a Vibro lance. I would stay away from a Long vibro axe if you are soloing untill you get sweep1 and your first +20 to accuracy. But still dont throw away those wood and combat staffs just use them for sweeps, then just normal swing a vibro lance or LVA
