Pikeman Archive

I've seen these posted everywhere and find them annoying, but hafta do it myself. I've just began the first step into being a pikeman, just got nuff pts ofr novice before server went down. ANyways I was going to go thru with pikemen stances tree first for the accuracy bonus, do ya guys think this is abad idea? What did you other pikemen do first? Any suggestions? Thanks. Loving this class by the way.

Accuracy bonuses are in the support tree( which requires combat xp ). I think the general consensus is grabbing defensive 1 for knockdown is best then going through the stances tree for the +s to speed, then defensive tree for bonuses, and lastly offensive tree because it is worthless.

I don't find the offensive tree worthless... just half of it. The leghits are great, though I have yet to understand the reason for areahit.

The area hits are for our sweep2 which is a area knockdown. I think they (dev) saw us as being able to manage and attack crowds of people.

He means he doesn't understand why we have area 1 and 2 when we already have spin 1 and 2, stun 2,and sweep 2. Especially since spin2 and area2 are so similar.

I've been saying I think area2 should include intimidation.
