Ok, im a novice pikeman, and i have defense 1.

I am very close to getting leveled again, and am wondering what to get first, stances I, offense I, or defense II.

go with whatever you want, some say that stances and defense is key to get first but from my experience offense is great, polearm area attack 1 and 2 and leghit 2 and 3

thats some massive damage, i really have no use for the defense tree other than, the sweep 1 and 2, you can keep the mods blah, now the stances do come in handy cause speed is key, you do need that, and the far right tree is awsome it allows you to bleed attack an oppent, so you can hit them for say, 999 damage well, everytime they bleed, they loose 999 action damage , so it kills them quick, but that takes combat xp, so likely that will be the last thing you master,...good luck
