Selling LVA on Lowca, can't be made due to resource shift, looking for 100k if you're Imperial or 125k for a Rebel, no exceptions. Here are the stats:

No weapon is worth 100k. I feel sorry for the sap who buys that weapon. Kammi was selling her LVA's for 100k too. Not until they fix the HAM costs and range issues will LVA's be worth anywhere near even 50k.

Kinda ticks me off. It's like selling a half-decent car for as much as a new mustang or something.

Do not fall for weaponsmiths and their twisted ideas of prices. Keep in mind that if none of us were to buy that, then he would not be able to sell it. Without us (his customers) then he would not make money. I encourage all the pikeman to form together on their respective servers, and create a "union." We have a smaller amount of people in our proffesion, so it is important that we stay together so that we do not get exploited. Our unity will prevail against the unorganized masses.

If you see a fellow pikeman in danger, then help him(her) out. If we unite in our galaxies then we will be stronger. Remember strength in numbers? That is the next step in our gameplay. We may not have all the people, or even the ability to kite other players out of their ability to fight. We fight fair, and for one another! We will make a chain that is unbreakable, so we are not dragged down by other proffesions: weaponsmiths, marksmen, anyone.

If a person is unfair to you, then send out their name to all the other pikeman on your server. Boycott them, with everyone, one word, one message. Keep strong and help out your fellow pikeman by giving themfree training, your old lance, tanking a big creature for them so they can gain more exp. Let us be stronger then the other classes with our sense of unity, community, and kinship.

what are the range mod penalties on a LVA? I know the Vibro Lance are like -30+

Accuracy penalty is -50 something on LVAs. I use my VL generally. The one this guy is trying to sell is a POS, I'd rather use a goodsliced normal lanceuntil resources shift again than pay 100k for a bad LVA.

-55/-55/-55 are the mods on mine.

I bought one of Kammi's 100k LVA's for two reasons:

1. She had the best ones available that I found (101-361 4.4 unsliced) - partially because I was gone for two days during/after the resource shift and most of the more reasonable smiths were out of them already.

2. I have nothing else to spend the load of cash I've gotten from doing missions for XP on. Hell, I even bought a full set of composite just to play with it (that was a huge waste of money, don't get suckered into thinking composite is worth it becauseit's not).

The only things worth buying atm are SEAs and weapons (or disks if you don't want to bother getting them on your own). You can make a couple hundred K a day from doing missions on either Dathomir or Lok, and even if you have all your lots full of harvesters, that leaves a lot of money left over.

Sorry if I screwed up a boycott - but if you're strapped for cash, go do 16k nym missions on lok for a few hours and you'll see why 100k isn't all that much money.

Currently, I have an amount in excess of 500k and that is just what I carry on me, If I had to guess (I haven't beenon my char in a couple days) that I have about 1.5mil. and 100k for a LVA is just insane. Even with all my money I still wouldn't pay that much, and you shouldn't either. Just because you are rich doesn't mean you would buy an item that normally costs under 20k for 100k, that just doesn't make sense. Also, if the resources shifted, then they will come back. You can wait a week for a LVA, plus you would save about 80+k.

do -50+ mods do anything? I've noticed that -50 is the highest mod that appears next to a creatures name when you're fighting.

My vibro lance is -33 and i get -46 mod next to a creature, if i move around it goes up to -50, which it does even when i'm using a +9 lance. So it seems like its capped at -50, which would mean the negative on the LVA is redudant.

I got my LVA fro 10k .. but I'm on Tempest .. and people there have business sense and ethics. -55 on all LVAs .. means you "can't hit the broad side of a barn witha giant stick" .. deadly HAM costs too ..

Youwhiners neglect tonote that LVAs require a very rare resource to create. As such, there are very few available at any given time. For this reason the market value of LVAs far exceeds that of a normal weapon. A WELL made LVA is worth even more. You don't want it for that price, then you don't have to buy it. Quitcherbitchin.
