Thread: Swordsman vs Pikeman and PolearmHit3/Two-hand Hit3. WE NEED SOME CHANGE
I am a MasterPikeman/MasterCH in Corbantis, yes I love Pikeman and it's fun.
but I think Pikeman should be long range melee, and most big dmg dealer with slow swing.
now Swordsman has good Two weapons, Two-hand Cleaver/PowerHammer.
PowerHammer is almost banishing Pikeman's meaning. and low HAM cost than LVA.

See Polearm Hit3 and Two-hand Hit3.
Polearm Hit3's dmg modifier is x3 or so. (not sure dmg calculation of inside program )
Two-hand Hit3's dmg modifier is x4 !!

We have BIG PENALTY on HAM Cost, Accuray,
and Defensive Skill Mods like Thoughness ( Pikeman is most low number skills on defense mod in melee )
Weapon problem is bit siriousness.... SpecialMove problem is heavy siriousness I think.
yes Polearm hit3 had Posture change, it means will be gimp with 30sec timer next big patch???
and low dmg than 2hand Hit3???
also VibroKnuckler will be 5M range weapon at next patch!!! same as LONGVibroAxe!!!

Pikemen have a better spamming weapon, especially from a defensive standpoint. I've come to the conclusion that Fencers are fast/small dmg, TKA is Fast/Utility, Swordsman are Slow/large dmg and pikemen are Slow/Utility. Before the powerhammer fix, VLAs were amazingly better than anything we swordsman have.
I already posted this in the Pikeman Concerns IIIthread its the same with us vs every other elite melee class they're hit3's dmg modifier is x4 ours = x3.
Fencers & Swordsmen also get x4 dmg on Bodyhit 3 & Headhit3, Pikemen's Leghit3 x3
I haven't had any problems in working the other melee classes, but if you guys think we need to do it faster, then I guess we will have to fix it...
lol, j/k. I find the other classes a challenge, though sometimes they are easier to beat then the really good ones.
