The true reason to be a Pikeman is for their amazing SPEED and ability to weave in and out of the opponents moves and come back with an amazing counter. Pikemen in this game have none of that...

Dont even try to tell me Pikeman should be slow because as far as i could tell, Darth Maul was goin way faster than Qui Gon and Obi Wan.

A Pikeman's true weakness is their inability to fight good when being takin on at point blank since their main damaging point is 4m's away from them. When this is correctly done in SWG (which wont happen because of whiners) I will be happy (im horrible at analogies).

I'm not sure if that's enough to motivate me to defect to the empire. Besides, I have -5000 fp for the Empire so it's not likely that I'm going to join his elite guard for a while
