Well I have finally surrender my marksmen skills for CH. I had taken rifle at first then went from that to Pistol and was thinking of going for pistoleer novice to use the Dx2 pistol, but then I didn't have a enough for the novice pistoleer. Well to make everything short I finally have decided to make myself useful and this is prob. on every other pikemans mind as well...I went to the skills below.

Master Pikeman, Master Ch, Novice Medic (Pharm I skill only for healing), Master Slicer (to make myself some credits and slice my own weapons and armor).

I also wanted to say is that I watched a raid the other and of course it had perhaps 1 or 2 melee's at the most and they of course had some type of creature with them...it was sad because everyone from teh raiding party was either Commando or BH...of course the rebels did know what hit them but still...the fact that so little of melee's are out there now...that it shows what ppl think is worth going for...of course you will have those who are are bandwagon joiners like Commando for now until they are nerfed than then they will truly see how it is to be on the receiving end of the pole.

I just wanted to state it seems more and more of us Meleer's are going with Master CH just to become something...this way we can survive at least in PvE but still when flame is doing 3k or 5k to pets it is almost again worthless to try PvP.

I'm getting: master brawler, master pike, 0/4/4/0 Doctor.

My original plan was to dabble in all the melee professions to have really high defenses, but I changed my mind.

I have never been interested in persuing the CH skills, I am not sure why, but it is not really appealing to me, however, I can understand the need for a tank once and a while...

I believe that the jedi class is/will be the savior of the melee proffessions, after all, they are a melee class. But other then that, I agree, not to many melees out there. Most people I see walk around with a sword so they will look cool or something, I really don't get it. Oh well, back to lvling up the tree

I do not like Star Wars, but my friend was able to convince me because I showed a lot of interest in the Creature Handler class. Needless to say, I am almost ashamed of it now. My other path was TK, and when I started playing, I unfortunately found that every other person was a TK/CH. Once I saw the vibrolance on the bazaar, I fell in love. Being a pikeman is the only reason I play now. When I go into town, I sometimes hide my animals. Noone else even uses carrion spats (my favorite), but the whole class is redundant now. Maybe with mounts, Sony will give this class some sort of distinguishable advantage. But even I don't believe it...
