Thread: Problems I Have With Pikeman Currently 9/19
I know all of you know that pikeman need to be fixed, well i thought i should just point out some of things:
High HAM costs:
Even from the patch that did say they lowered it, it still seems high compared to other melee weapons
Pathetic Range Mods:
-55 for our mods is just sad, as I'm sure all of you know this already, sort of obvious but being killed by a weak creature or missing many times in a duel gives the edge to the enemy. I have missed 21 times straight...![]()
Toughness:
Our toughness is just way to low.
Raise our maxium range:
Why should TKA get about the same max range as we do, we uselong weapons, just makes sence in my opinion.
Block:
Pikeman's block doesn't work most of the time or all the time.
XP:
Just seems like pikeman xp goes alot slower than others. Might just be me ![]()
Killing Creatures:
Most of the harder creatures we have to kill like giant dalyrake, wrixsect, are hard to kill. Then i see a TKA at the same levels as me basicly take it down a whole quicker and easier.

Stun sucks? Do you even pay attention to what happens after you use it? Itreduces damage done to youa lotand stacks with intimidate. I start off every battle with an intimidate then a stun move and reapply every time it goes off. I take way less damage when I have intimidated and stunned my enemy.
Sweep2 sucks now though and never seems to knock down more than one enemy at a time. I wish they'd give us something useful to replace it.
Also, polearmstun2 is probably tied for the best move animation with polearmarea2. I love the little roundhouse punch at the end
. The animator who worked on pikeman really deserves some credit. We're a sight to see in combat.
