Thread: Problems I Have With Pikeman Currently 9/19

I know all of you know that pikeman need to be fixed, well i thought i should just point out some of things:


High HAM costs:


Even from the patch that did say they lowered it, it still seems high compared to other melee weapons


Pathetic Range Mods:


-55 for our mods is just sad, as I'm sure all of you know this already, sort of obvious but being killed by a weak creature or missing many times in a duel gives the edge to the enemy. I have missed 21 times straight...


Toughness:


Our toughness is just way to low.


Raise our maxium range:


Why should TKA get about the same max range as we do, we uselong weapons, just makes sence in my opinion.


Block:


Pikeman's block doesn't work most of the time or all the time.


XP:


Just seems like pikeman xp goes alot slower than others. Might just be me


Killing Creatures:


Most of the harder creatures we have to kill like giant dalyrake, wrixsect, are hard to kill. Then i see a TKA at the same levels as me basicly take it down a whole quicker and easier.

i feeeeel your paiaain..



The attic was less to us from the cellar the bones like the attic let them have it let them stay in the attic. When they sometimes come down the stairs at night and stand perplexed behind the door and headboard of the bed brushing that chalky skull with chalky fingers with sounds like the dry rattling of a shutter. Thats what I sit up in the dark to say.

Honestly, i have no problem with exp.. i went from getting block 4 pike on the brawler tree to novice pikeman, and actually half way through the first block of a pikeman skill in about 3 hours.. other than that, i feel your pain on everything else!

i wis they would take KD out of the skill tree so they would be forced to give us real skills, also i hate having 4 attacks that all do the same thing (polearmhit2 stun, areaattack 2 stun spinattack2 stun)...everyhting we have stuns so wh do we have area stun...also...stun sucks

Stun sucks? Do you even pay attention to what happens after you use it? Itreduces damage done to youa lotand stacks with intimidate. I start off every battle with an intimidate then a stun move and reapply every time it goes off. I take way less damage when I have intimidated and stunned my enemy.


Sweep2 sucks now though and never seems to knock down more than one enemy at a time. I wish they'd give us something useful to replace it.


Also, polearmstun2 is probably tied for the best move animation with polearmarea2. I love the little roundhouse punch at the end . The animator who worked on pikeman really deserves some credit. We're a sight to see in combat.

take out KD? no... use dizzy and KD actually works. If you look, each of the 4 area stuns is a tier higher then it's predisessor(sp). So yea... each one is a little better (supposedly) then the previous one.
