Will be as brief and to the point as possible.

I chose Pikeman because they look so doggone cool, but I'm laying down my pole. I cant hit anything, I cant block anything. I cant use special moves while wearing armor and I have to wear armor to effectively tank for my groups.This is sad, I took my armor off today so I could familiarize myself more with my abilities and realized I've never even used actionhit or leg hit because of the HAM damage.PLEASE hear this:Pikemen are TANKS, tanks take the BLOWS, Pikemen get hit ALOT, thus we have to wear ARMOR, if wearing armor we cant afford special moves and must depend on other group members to kill the mob which makes us a peabrained meat shield. If I kill myself with special moves in a group, I havent done my job of keeping the baddies on me, because i'm incapped.Who cares what special moves a pikeman gets, we cant use them because they will kill us. PVP? hehe, naw, not an option. Any newbie with a CDEF can take us out. Love that knockdown, but once I've used it in combat, thats it, now its pray time. I'm truly sorry for this rude, pointblankflameout, but I've put alot of time into Pikeman believing that it must get better, meanwhile my friends are enjoying tremendous special moves and raw power with their chosen professions. And here I sit on the frontline, peabrained meatshield handcuffed to a ball and chain weapon that will not allow me to do anything but default autoattack and hope to heaven my friends can kill it before their shield gets incapped. BTW, anyone got a pistol I can borrow?

They said combat professions are in the works, yea they goofed em really bad, it's pretty ridiculous really... but I think I'll hang in there... there's other thigns to do besides hitting things with my metal stick..

my only gripe now is the way we tank, we cant take the massive damage hits, thats what our KD was for so we didnt have to get hit, i can still solo rancors, and grauls, and other baddies from dath and hard planets, but instead of doing it in all clothes, and switching to my reinforced staff to sweep and switch back, im wearing full composite armor, and just use regular attack/intimidate, the game changes, the skills changes, accept it and move on, they arent going back on KD, like they didnt go back on baz nitch missions, so you gotta adapt and accept

not sure your problem exactly? Pikeman I know are the worst combat profession atm. But CDEF newbie? No. Unless you also suck. I am not a master. But I still have gotten pretty good at anti-kiting. CDEF doesn't hit enough. I am going to get a bleed on almost everyone. And the bleed alone will incap the newb long before he gets me. We have lunge and Burst run for a reason... If you use the skills you have... I am not saying I will take a BH everytime. Or a master pistoleer. But I have taken them before. Outside even. Inside I took two BH once. Pre-KD nerf. But was fricking cool. But we aren't that bad that everyone should just quite. practice more PvP and you will do better. Join a PA. It really helps. Anyone on Starsider, look up The Resistance. We of one of the best rebel PAs out there. But having people to train and level and chat with helps more then anyone can know. And the group bonus helps. Better accuracy and better xp. Almost thought they fixed my accuracy mod for a moment yesterday while in a group. I went up and watched 3 cats fall at once. so nice. But hey. This is all about where you have the most fun. If having fun is running around with a CDEF trying to kite a master pikeman... go for it. You will lose though. If you don't believe me, create a char on Starsider and give me a tell. But do what profession(s) you have fun with. This is just a game. Just happens to be about Star Wars!!
