This is one of those posts were there is no whining, yea we have plenty to gripe about but you know what.

I still have no desire to switch to any other combat class ( much less becoming a ranged monkey)

I love being a pikeman - even though we suck

btw im on radiant, and i havent run into a single other pikeman personally ( i know they exist, i just spend my time in the boonies alot)

I love being a pikeman too, but I'm not going to pretend like everything is ok. I don't expect any other profession or anyone else to do the same. "Whining" about it is the only way it gets fixed. How do you think Commando's got fixed so fast?

IF we sit and bite our tongues no one notices or cares. The tools for our 'team lead' or whatever he is, has just been implamented but he's bailed on the position.

The devs have said their combat proposals are just that, proposals, they may never be implamented.

So basically, this thread is to announce that your a masochist. o_O;

I haveseen one other Master Pikeman on Gorath. I was so utterly shocked I stopped in my tracks while PvPing and said, "OH MY GOD". Hehe then I was incapped and deathblown by the people I had been running from in the first place.

Yup, I agree with you that Pikeman is where I want to be. I know we have our issues, but I still like it. I even like the fact that we are so rare. Its nice to not be "just another pistol wielding hothead."

We are definately not a cookie cutter class, thats for sure.

Now now, im not saying i love that we suck or that were all good.

dont get me wrong - we got a long way to go, but one thing's for sure, any of us that stuck around post KD patch, are hardcore Pikemen (and women).

pikeman from the start, pikeman til the end, we have always been a good community, not many whiners, and appreciate the skills we do have instead of wanting things we dont have, thats why i think the pikeman community is the best out of all proffessions, and i hope that if they do do something to make pikeman better, whatever it is, they dont make us so good that we are a "flavor of the month"......if pikeman numbers blow up and u see everyone running around with an LVA, it takes the fun out of being one of the few

We also arent full of little immature kids like most of the other classes.. because without some level of maturity, you wouldnt last long as a pikeman

Last night I was fighting in Moenia, Naboo doing some rebel missions and on purpose I was overt. In the meantime that I was running back and forth doings missions I saw 2 imps that they were overt, when we got ready to fight each of us took out our Pike and we just looked at each other and did not fight at all, we even started talking about our professions and different stuff that we have gone through as a Pikeman.

Even though we were on different teams as a Pikeman there is still respect for each other, after we were done talking(we were overt)each one of us went our seperate ways. What us Pikeman need to do is unite just like the commandos did to get their professions fix. I do not care if you are an imp if you use that pike like i do my respect goes out to you too brother and sister of the Pike.
